One of the main draws of Cultus Lake is the motor boating sports like water skiing, wakeboard, and jet skiing that are possible due to the large size of the lake.

Local tip: Cultus Lake is one of the handful of lakes near Bend that allow high speed watercraft.

Seventh Mountain Resort

Keep in mind: there’s not a great beach or swimming area right at the resort which is a downside. However, the Crooked River Day Use Area is close by, which does have grassy fields and some small beach swimming areas.
